I remember this one time that all the school work piled on me (it was finals week, so blech) and I wasn’t writing at all (blogs, poetry, stories, anything!) and I felt so drained because I didn’t have an outlet.x_x Writing’s an outlet of mine, so if I don’t have that, I’m pretty much a zombie badtzy walking down the street.x_x

Return of the Shows!

I found a list online (hope it’s reliable) of when the TV shows (after the hiatus caused by the Writers’ strike) are going to be coming back - and most of the ones I’m watching going to return on September! Woot! Here are the dates, in case anyone watches the same shows as I do. Oh, and spoilers may be found below. You have been warned.XD Heroes: September 22. Finally! After a disastrous second season, they’re coming back, and the producers have said something to the effect of bringing back the energy of Season 1! Woohoo! Sadly, Dana Davis will be leaving the show in the first part. Since she’s one of the two new characters I’ve liked (the other being Kristen Bell), I was sad to hear about it.:( Things to watch out for: The fading of the line between "hero" and "villain" - who’s going to change sides? Also, the bringing in of 12 (?) new villains! Woot! More Sylars to eat other heroes’ brains (figuratively, of course), Sylar himself, in all his evil glory, Caitlin’s possible return (I doubt this), and whether or not they’ll lessen Peter’s powers (yes, please. He’s way too powerful that it’s absurd. Unless they make him a villain - that would be very interesting.XD) CSI: October 9, but without William Petersen anymore.:( That stinks a lot, considering that Gil Grissom’s the heart and soul of the show. I don’t know how Laurence Fishburne (yep, Morpheus himself!) is going to handle the new role of being the head of the Las Vegas crime lab. Things to watch out for: Whether Warrick Brown died or not, and Sara Sidle’s brief reappearance. CSI: NY: September 24. The CSI with the most eye candy.XD ‘Nuff said. Things to watch out for: Mac’s rescue from his kidnappers, Rikki’s return (*gasp*), and whether or not Danny and Lindsay will break up (please, no! I love this couple!) CSI: Miami: September 22. My least favorite CSI show, mostly because Horatio Caine annoys me.x_x What’s up with him and his shades, anyway? Things to watch out for: Whether Horatio survives being shot (but of course he does. His infamous sunglasses probably deflected the bullet), and whether Ryan had a hand on it (the shooting, not the shades). House: September 16. Since the last episode of last season ended on a serious note, I gotta wonder what’s going to happen to the cast. Things to watch out for: The relationship between House and Wilson. House’s relationship with his former colleagues. House’s relationship with Thirteen… So pretty much, we’ll have to watch out for House’s relationships with everyone else on the show.XD Supernatural: September 18. Another show I watch partly because of the eye candy.XD Things to watch out for: Whether or not Dean’s going to be condemned in hell for all eternity, and if Sam’s powers are going to develop. Also, I know some of you watch Grey’s Anatomy, so to make you happy… The show’s coming back September 25.^_^ I don’t regularly watch it, so I can’t say it’s in my list of favorites. Scrubs doesn’t have a date yet.:( Smallville returns on September 18, but I lost interest in the show a couple of seasons ago.:P

Anyway, I don’t mind being Italian, since *cough* Carmine Giovinazzo’s one. It should be illegal for a guy to look that good.x_x
Not to mention, the boots up there are gorgeous. Well, the guy too, but I think I’m done with my quota for drooling over Carmine for the day.XD
I really want to travel to Europe, even just to one country (Italy, Greece, Ireland, France, or Spain!) Problem is, it’s so expensive, from the airfare to the living expenses. Grawr.

August 29th, 2008 by iheartbadtz:mymelody.com Can’t say I agree to all of that, but it doesn’t really matter, since I like ravioli.^_^ Reminds me of one of my favorite kitties: (Tingal would kill me for this.XD) Yeah, yeah, his favorite’s lasagna, but there was an ad featuring Garfield and some brand of ravioli, so it stuck in my head for some reason. He’s still cute! His tummy reminds me of Badtz - I wanna poke de tummy!

My brother brought me to this coffee shop called "Read and Brew" (heh, R&B) that he loves and swears by it. I was a bit o_O at first about it (since when have you heard of a coffee shop that serves rice meals or other kinds of full-sized meals, anyway?), but when I tasted their food, whoamigosh! It was so good - and cheap, too! I take back all my doubts! I ordered the baked chicken, strawberry smoothie, and blueberry cheesecake (notice my love for this dessert?^_^) They poured barbecue sauce or something on the chicken. The chicken’s really tender and practically melts in your mouth, and the sauce is to die for. Man, just thinking about it makes me drool! I was teasing my brother for bringing me there, because it’s now a taste that I’ll be looking for to the end of the days! Haha! Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to take a picture of the chicken - first taste and I attacked it immediately, forgetting that it would make for a good entry.x_x Yep, it was that good. I was able to take piccies of my drink and the cake too (well, half of the cake. My brother and I ate half of it before I remembered to take a snap of it x_x). Half-eaten cheesecake It was a wee bit small, but since it was yummy (and cheap!), it didn’t matter. Unlike the hospital cheesecake I told you about, this one used poor cheese, so it as very rich and filling. Yum, yum! The strawberry smoothie, my brother’s shirt, and my poor, demolished chicken. I also love their strawberry shake (shout-out to Steffi, btw. Where are you?:P) The glass was practically a foot tall (well, take around 3-4 inches) and it was yummy! I wasn’t able to finish it though. I was too full of my chicken and the cake - and I suddenly got brain freeze.x_x My brother had to finish it off for me, and he was definitely not complaining, so I think he liked it too.:P He told me to try the mocha frappuccino the next time though, because it’s his favorite drink there. Looks like tingal and Superbong are starting to have an effect on me.:P

Thursdays

Since it’s a Thursday, here’s a lite for you! === It’s a Thursday. He hates Thursdays. Thursdays are days of mockery, he always thought. They were made to taunt people that the weekend was almost there, but not quite, and there’s really nothing you could do about it. He didn’t really see the point of Thursdays. Mondays are there to start the week, Wednesdays told you that you’re right smack in the middle, and Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays tell you that you could catch your breath and relax a little - unless it was exams week. Tuesdays were like Thursdays that didn’t have a point, but Thursdays are worse because they block your enjoyment of the weekend by being there. Besides which, he always has Mr. Valdez for a teacher on Thursdays, and he was notorious on campus for being a terror teacher, giving pop quizzes and recitations when you least expected them. Not to mention, he has lab classes on Thursdays, and it was only a good day for him when he manages to keep him and his partner from smoking and smelling of sulfur. To cap it off, he never has a ride back home on Thursdays. His brother always manages to forget him after his basketball practice, so most of the time, he has to hoof it home. Yep, Thursdays were the worst. If he could only… “Hey, Jake! What are you doing sitting on the pavement? You know what, lab’s a killer! We’re really lucky we didn’t end mess up today, or we’d have smelled like rotten eggs again! Geez, and Mr. Anderson was looking at us. It’s not like we fail all the time, but the way he’s glaring…” As Lana plopped beside him and chattered on, Jake allows himself a small smile. Maybe Thursdays weren’t so bad, after all. — Hope you liked it!^_^ I got the idea from a friend who said he hated Thursdays because they’re fake Fridays. Hahaha!

Woohoo! Got one of my fave colors!^_^ I can agree with some of the things here, but others, I don’t really see eye-to-eye (heh) with.
The funny thing was, when I still used to wear glasses, the color I wore the most was pink (when I was way younger and it was still my favorite color). Strange.o_O

But yeah, I’m not afraid to be myself. Actually, that’s something I wish more people could do, you know, being themselves. I find it annoying seeing people who are obviously acting as though they were someone else just so they could be liked.x_x
